Frederikshavn church

ERIK arkitekter are behind a comprehensive restoration of Frederikshavn church. The church was built in 1892 and was designed by the architect Vilhelm Ahlmann. Frederikshavn church is a large central church, which was built in the shape of a cross with a central spire. There is room in the church for about 1,100 seated church attendants. The church has been restored both inside and outside. The interior portion of the project consists of a technical upgrading of the church, as well as a functional, material and aesthetic upgrade. Today, the church appears to be bright and simple. The high-ceilinged church interior is shown to its best advantage with 13 suspended LED chandeliers.
