In collaboration with Hans J. Wegner’s Tegnestue, Okholm Lighting has chosen to resume production of the renowned Wegner Post Top, originally designed in 1976 by architect and furniture designer Hans J. Wegner together with architect Marianne Wegner.
With the Wegner Post Top, father and daughter won the design competition for lighting fixtures intended for urban districts with valuable historic architecture.
Thanks to its thoughtful design, the Wegner Post Top has illuminated many streets, alleys, and squares in Danish and international cityscapes. A defining characteristic is its angled top, which provides an asymmetrical light distribution. The shielding of the light source ensures glare-free illumination.
