FROM CARLSBERG TO CARL HANSEN & SØN

The Tulip pendant was originally developed for the Carlsberg Academy – a collaboration between Okholm Lighting and architect and lighting designer Marianne Tuxen.
Now, the lamp has found its way into private homes and was recently presented to the public at Stockholm Design Week.

With its iconic tulip shape, Tulip unites aesthetics and function.
The design allows for high mounting without glare – the light source is elegantly recessed into the glass, and the narrow lower part provides effective shielding when viewed from below. This makes the pendant ideal for dining tables, kitchen islands or spaces with high ceilings.

The light is softly and evenly distributed across the glossy opal glass surface, creating a pleasant and atmospheric ambient light. The pendant is suspended from a solid brass fitting, completing its refined expression.

Tulip is available in two sizes – Ø170 mm and Ø360 mm – and can be found in all Carl Hansen & Søn Flagship Stores:
in Gelsted, Odense, Bredgade 33 – and in Carlsberg Byen, close to the very place it was originally designed for.

A pendant created in harmony with architecture –
and now ready to illuminate private homes, restaurants, offices and many more spaces.
